Job Description/Overview:
Consumer Direct Washington is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide assistance to clients with various daily needs, helping them maintain independence in their homes. CDWA specializes in home and community-based support for individuals of all ages, including seniors and those with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities: walking, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting
Transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities
Perform light housekeeping tasks
Remind clients to take medications
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and behavior
Address clients’ needs with respect and ensure safety
Perform other authorized duties as assigned
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
Able to pass background and exclusion checks
Lawfully authorized to work in the U.S. (no future sponsorship required)
Complete required training
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance if providing transportation
Experience:
No experience required; training provided
Skills:
Ability to manage physical aspects of the role, including assistance with weight-bearing activities
Strong attention to safety and respect for client privacy and needs

Additional Information:
Job Types: Full-time and part-time available
Pay Range: $21.12 – $23.94 per hour
Benefits: PTO, 401(k), health and dental insurance, vision insurance, flexible schedules, referral program
Schedule Options: 4-hour, 8-hour, and 10-hour shifts, day/evening/night shifts, weekdays and weekends as needed
Relocation: Must relocate to Bellingham, WA before starting
