Job Description/Overview:
Visiting Angels in Eagle Mountain, TX, is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to elderly clients in their homes. This role includes helping clients with daily activities to promote comfort and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.)
Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities
Support mobility and provide safe transfer assistance
Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
Monitor and remind clients about medication schedules
Report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervisor
Qualifications:
Valid CNA certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Prior experience as a CNA or in a caregiving role preferred
Experience with elderly clients, including those with Alzheimer’s/dementia, is an asset
Skills:
Ability to follow care plans and maintain safety and hygiene standards
Physical capability for assisting with mobility and transfer needs
