Job Description/Overview:
Visiting Angels in Crowley, TX, is hiring a compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical assistance to elderly clients in their homes. The caregiver will support daily activities, promote client well-being, and help them maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Offer companionship and engage in activities with clients
Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
Follow medication reminders and monitor health changes
Report any changes in client health or behavior to the supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Compassionate, patient, and reliable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Prior caregiving experience is a plus
Experience:
Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred
Experience with elderly clients, especially those with Alzheimer’s or dementia, is a benefit
Skills:
Ability to follow care plans and safety guidelines
Physical ability to assist with transfers and mobility
Knowledge of hygiene and caregiving standards
