Job Description/Overview:
Visiting Angels in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an at-home caregiver to provide essential support to elderly clients. The role focuses on non-medical assistance, helping clients maintain their independence and comfort at home.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Provide companionship and engage clients in activities
Support mobility, transfers, and positioning safely
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
Follow medication reminders and monitor any changes in client health
Communicate changes in health or behavior to the supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of basic caregiving practices is a plus
Experience:
Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred
Experience with elderly clients, especially those with Alzheimer’s or dementia, is beneficial
Skills:
Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety and hygiene standards
Physical stamina for assisting with mobility support
