Job Description
Palgrove seeks a motivated Station/Farm Hand to support livestock and general farm operations. This position involves:
Livestock management: cattle handling, husbandry, branding, and processing
Commitment to safe work practices and animal welfare
Operating and maintaining farm vehicles and equipment
Record-keeping with calving books and apps
Rotational grazing and pasture management
Maintenance of stock water and fencing
General farm duties

Key Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of livestock management within a commercial operation.
Maintain safety and welfare standards for animals and personnel.
Operate farm machinery and vehicles safely.
Document animal and farm records accurately.
Maintain fencing, water supply, and grazing systems.
Qualifications & Experience
Prior experience as a Station/Farm Hand is desirable.
Sound understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) / Workplace Health & Safety (WHS).
A valid manual car driver’s license.
Own transport.
Physical fitness and ability to work independently or within a team.
Skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks to a high standard.
Good communication skills for teamwork and solo work.
Organized and proactive approach to farm operations.
Calm and confident handling of cattle.
