Job Description
Josh’s Rainbow Eggs, an innovative agricultural business, seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Farm Operations Team Member to help ensure the welfare of hens and the production of premium quality eggs. The role involves hands-on farm work in a supportive and growth-oriented team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Egg Collection & Quality Control: Collect, sort, and transport eggs to the grading room following safe handling and biosecurity procedures.
Flock Health Management: Perform daily checks of hens, nests, feeders, drinkers, and the farm’s working dogs.
Data Management: Record egg production, flock health, and equipment usage data.
Plant & Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and maintenance on farm equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
Driver’s Licence: A valid Victorian Driver’s Licence (manual preferred).
Transport: Reliable transport to and from the farm.
Forklift Licence: A forklift licence (or willingness to obtain with provided training).
Farm Experience: Previous farm experience is beneficial, though training will be provided.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
