Job Description/Overview:
The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading the sales department of the Westin Los Angeles Airport. This includes both proactive and reactive sales efforts, as well as developing strategies to increase bookings and revenues. This position requires managing a team, implementing brand initiatives, and working closely with various internal departments to optimize marketing and sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the sales department, achieving property booking and revenue goals.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans.
Evaluate and optimize participation in sales channels.
Manage the marketing budget for property-specific campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Oversee the execution of Marriott’s customer service standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or related field and 4 years of experience OR
4-year degree in a related field and 2 years of experience in sales and marketing.
Preferred:
Demonstrated team leadership experience.
Lodging and hotel industry sales experience.
Proven track record of career growth and exceptional performance.
Experience:
Significant experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality or related industries.
Experience managing a sales team and achieving financial goals.
Skills:
Strategic planning and marketing communication.
Strong leadership and team management.
Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.

Salary: $153,000 to $190,154 annually.
