Job Description/Overview:
As a Housekeeper 30h at Leicester Marriott Hotel, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the entire hotel. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring a memorable and clean guest experience by taking on various housekeeping tasks, from cleaning rooms and public spaces to stocking carts and fulfilling guest requests. The role requires being proactive, hands-on, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to Marriott’s standards.
Stock housekeeping carts and ensure all necessary supplies are available.
Address guest requests promptly and efficiently.
Ensure safe handling of cleaning products and equipment.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with guests and co-workers.
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
No formal qualifications required.
Previous housekeeping experience is an advantage but not essential.
Experience:
Experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred, though training will be provided.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
