Join our dynamic Global Marketing team as a Senior Social Media Specialist and play a pivotal role in connecting New Zealand with the world. This is your chance to use your expertise in digital cultural trends, creativity, and strategic thinking to grow the global social media presence of the 100% Pure New Zealand brand. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you’ll craft and deliver content for global social media platforms, fostering international engagement and inspiring travel to New Zealand. Your work will drive year-round appeal with a particular focus on increasing off-peak arrivals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute paid and organic social media strategies across platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, and YouTube.
- Create and edit high-quality, audience-focused, and culturally relevant social-first content using brand assets.
- Manage large social media communities, fostering brand advocacy and engagement.
- Track and report on social media ad spend and financial performance.
- Stay ahead of digital cultural trends to ensure innovative and impactful social media strategies.
- Collaborate with global teams, aligning efforts across markets to deliver outstanding campaigns.
- Provide insights and recommendations to continually enhance social media initiatives.
- Travel to New Zealand’s unique destinations to capture inspiring content.

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate marketer with:
- Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on social media management, including paid and organic strategies.
- Skills: Advanced copywriting, creative production, and video editing skills. Proficiency with social media tools and platforms, including Meta Business Manager and publishing tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of social media and digital culture. A background in media planning and buying is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to collaborate globally and act as a social media subject matter expert.
- Passion: A deep appreciation for New Zealand, its unique destinations, and a desire to share its magic with the world.
- Travel: A full driver’s license for travel to remote locations across New Zealand.
