Job Description/Overview:
Candid Health is seeking a skilled Front End Software Engineer to join the product development team. The role involves ensuring UX consistency across the Candid app, engaging with customers to understand their pain points, and using the most relevant front-end libraries and tools. The position also includes opportunities to shape the company’s engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to product development with UX consistency in mind.
Engage with customers to understand and creatively address their challenges.
Shape engineering culture and contribute to an optimal work environment.
Ensure usage of relevant front-end libraries and tools.
Build tooling and improvements for front-end DevOps.
Perform front-end profiling and monitoring.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience:
4+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, React, Typescript, and API development.
Skills:
UX/Design instincts, experience with server-side rendering, GraphQL, Tailwind, Firebase, and Codegen (preferred).
Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
