Job Description/Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to leverage your commercial acumen and hands-on sales management experience in a well-known brand and quality company. As a Sales Manager, you will lead sales initiatives to drive profitable growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will collaborate with a peer group of State Managers and lead a team of sales executives committed to achieving continued success.
Salary: $180,000 – $220,000 AUD per year, plus an attractive bonus structure and additional benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership: Inspire and lead the sales team to meet and surpass growth targets.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial contracts with builders and channel partners to establish strategic partnerships.
Enhancing Margins: Improve margins through effective pricing strategies and disciplined cost management.
Strategic Growth Development: Design and implement customer growth plans to expand the market footprint.
Value Proposition Advocacy: Champion the company’s value proposition, clearly communicating its benefits to customers and stakeholders.
Project Oversight: Monitor construction project activities, identifying opportunities that align with sales excellence and growth ambitions.
Strategy Contribution: Participate in national strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the Building Materials industry.
Relevant tertiary and professional qualifications are highly regarded.
Experience:
Proven track record of developing high-performing teams and consistently achieving KPIs.
Skills:
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
