Job Description/Overview:
The Front Office Manager oversees daily operations of the front office, including Guest Services, Bell/Door Staff, and Switchboard, to ensure efficient check-in/out processes and high guest satisfaction. This role involves collaboration with the General Manager to meet department financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day front office functions to meet customer expectations and quality standards.
Handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts as needed.
Train, supervise, and support front desk staff, promoting a positive work environment.
Communicate departmental goals and ensure team alignment.
Maintain policies, supervise shift operations, and ensure compliance with property standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in guest services or front desk roles OR a relevant degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Business Administration.
Experience: 1+ year in a similar role or a degree in a related field.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Problem-solving abilities for guest-related issues.
Effective communicator with team management experience.
