Job Description/Overview:
The Assistant Front Office Manager assists in managing front office functions, supervising Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk. This role ensures smooth check-in/out processes, guest and employee satisfaction, and department financial performance. The position involves collaborating with managers and employees to uphold service standards and build a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Support management of the front desk team, fostering trust and cooperation.
Oversee day-to-day operations and handle guest and employee issues.
Improve service performance and implement customer service programs.
Ensure compliance with front office policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related field; OR
2-year degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related major (no work experience required).
Experience:
Previous experience in hospitality or guest services.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead by example and handle guest feedback effectively.
