Job Description/Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will support daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, records management, and customer service. Responsibilities include recording meeting minutes, arranging travel, ordering supplies, and maintaining filing systems. The role requires a high level of organization and the ability to manage a large caseload with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
Schedule and confirm appointments.
Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations.
Set up and maintain both manual and computerized information filing systems.
Qualifications:
College/CEGEP education in Business Administration and Management or equivalent experience.
Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Office.
Strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills.
