Job Description/Overview:
The Courtyard Kuwait City is seeking a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor to ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and pool meet cleanliness and quality standards. Responsibilities include inspecting cleaned areas, managing daily housekeeping activities, coordinating with departments, and documenting room status. The role involves communicating updates to the next shift and assisting with team management to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool to meet quality standards
Coordinate housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry efforts
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
Prepare and manage room assignments and communicate changes to team members
Assist in hiring, training, and motivating housekeeping employees
Maintain professionalism, uphold safety and security policies
Physically able to move, lift, push, pull, bend, and perform other activities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
Skills:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Adaptability to guest needs and teamwork-oriented
