Position: Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

Job Description/Overview:
Marriott International is looking for a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor to ensure high standards of cleanliness at Residence Inn Kuwait City. Responsibilities include inspecting guest rooms and public areas, managing housekeeping reports, coordinating with other departments, and documenting room discrepancies. The supervisor will support housekeeping management in daily tasks, including room assignments, and maintain high standards of guest service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool to meet quality standards
Document and resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk
Coordinate efforts with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
Prepare and distribute room assignments, updating room statuses
Communicate issues to next shift and complete paperwork
Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating employees
Maintain confidentiality, uphold safety policies, and ensure professional appearance
Move, lift, and carry objects as needed, sometimes over 55 pounds with assistance
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Experience:
At least 1 year of related work experience and 1 year in a supervisory role
Skills:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to guest needs
Physical stamina for tasks like pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
