Job Description/Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their team in Banyo. This role involves handling “ugly freight” and lifting heavy, uneven mechanical components. The position offers full-time hours from Monday to Friday, with potential for permanent placement after six months.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to lift and move heavy and uneven mechanical components
Handle “ugly freight” operations
Perform general warehouse duties and maintain cleanliness
Adhere to safety guidelines
Qualifications:
Valid forklift license
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in forklift operation
Some experience with “ugly freight” operations
Workshop experience is advantageous
Skills:
Strong attention to safety and operational procedures
Ability to lift and handle heavy components
Reliable and punctual

Hourly rate: $38 per hour plus penalties
Working hours: 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
