Position: Forklift Driver / Back Up Delivery Driver

Job Description/Overview:
Direct Freight Express is a family-owned and operated nationwide company with over 29 years in road transport, employing over 2,200 people across 61 locations. We are dedicated to customer focus, innovation, and exceptional service. We are looking for a highly motivated Forklift Driver and Back Up Delivery Driver to join our Carrara team immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload all company fleet vehicles
Perform multidrop deliveries and scheduled pickups (general freight), hand-unloading required
Handle receiving and dispatch of goods
Secure loads using gating and strapping for company vehicles
Manage consignment notes
Perform general warehouse duties
Qualifications:
Open Car Licence (minimum requirement)
LF Counterbalance Forklift license
Experience:
1-2 years of experience with Counterbalance Forklift operation
Skills:
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol test
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Full permanent working rights in Australia

Expected hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm
