Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of FQHC Strategy to lead the consulting services delivered to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Community Healthcare Organizations. In this role, you will guide project scoping, manage resources, and ensure quality and timely delivery of impactful services tailored to meet evolving client needs. You’ll work directly with community health leaders on compliance, operations, and strategic issues, leveraging your expertise to shape successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise community health leaders on FQHC compliance, designation, and reimbursement, ensuring adherence to standards and optimized operations.
- Analyze client data to uncover trends and provide strategic, actionable insights that address core client challenges.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in areas like finance, compliance, strategy, operations, and fundraising.
- Actively manage project scopes and work plans, addressing primary client concerns while integrating client and Wipfli business strategies.
- Oversee multiple client engagements, promoting team efficiency, autonomy, and cross-functional knowledge sharing.
- Lead business development efforts by seeking referrals and cross-selling opportunities.
- Act as a thought leader on community healthcare, contributing to team best practices, professional standards, and quality control.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Proven experience with analytics and project management.
- 7+ years in professional services, healthcare, or a related field, with significant experience in community health or FQHCs.
- Experience in training, support, or consulting advisory roles is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (MPH, MPA, MHA) or similar.
- Demonstrated thought leadership in community healthcare.
- Certifications such as PMP, HFMA, or CFRE.
- Ability to interpret financial statements and research Medicaid and FQHC program requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $140,000 – $234,000, determined by skills, experience, certifications, and other factors.
- Annual discretionary bonus eligibility based on performance.
