We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Affiliate Marketing Expert to drive strategic affiliate partnerships and generate leads through innovative campaigns.
Position Overview:
As an Affiliate Marketing Expert, you will develop, manage, and optimize affiliate marketing programs to drive traffic, increase brand visibility, and generate leads for The College Tour. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on autonomy and creative problem-solving, with the chance to build a revenue-generating affiliate program. We prefer an entrepreneurial mindset—someone who can see the potential of our brand and leverage it to create impactful affiliate partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy to align with The College Tour’s goals
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new affiliate partners to expand our network
- Manage affiliate relationships, providing resources and support to maximize performance
- Monitor and analyze affiliate performance metrics (traffic, conversions, ROI) to optimize campaigns
- Create and distribute promotional materials such as banners, links, and content for affiliates
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align affiliate efforts with broader marketing initiatives
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive affiliate program
- Conduct regular performance reviews with affiliates and provide actionable insights
- Negotiate terms and agreements with affiliate partners for mutually beneficial relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in affiliate marketing (education or media industry experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing platforms and tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and affiliate marketing software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with affiliate networks like Commission Junction, ShareASale, or Rakuten
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles
- Familiarity with the higher education sector and college marketing
