Job Description/Overview:
AmeriLux International is seeking a hardworking and driven Forklift Driver to join our distribution center in Green Bay, WI. The ideal candidate will be cross-trained across departments, allowing them to provide support where needed and eventually be assigned a permanent position that aligns with their skills and the company’s operational needs. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborative Layout Design: Work with leadership to create a well-organized material and product layout, optimizing workflow and operational efficiency.
Order Fulfillment & Palletizing: Process and palletize orders with accuracy and efficiency, adhering to specific requirements.
Precision Labeling: Label materials accurately to ensure easy identification and tracking within the production process.
Staging & Logistics Coordination: Organize skids in designated areas for efficient loading and unloading, supporting streamlined logistics.
Loading Operations: Safely load materials onto flatbed trailers, securing them for transport according to safety protocols.
Crate & Skid Construction: Construct custom crates and skids for secure material transport.
Inventory Management: Support inventory accuracy, timely reporting, and gain exposure to supply chain operations.
Operational Excellence: Collaborate on performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
Team-oriented and driven, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in layout design is an advantage.
Experience:
Proven experience in forklift driving and logistics coordination preferred.
Skills:
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of palletizing, staging, and logistics.
