Job Description/Overview
Join our new purpose-built Egerton Manor Care Centre in Bolton, which opened in October 2023. Our 64-bed facility provides high standards of safety, comfort, and care for residents with various needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care. We prioritize a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care, with no agency staff used for over four years.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on, person-centred care to residents.
Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.
Assist with all aspects of physical, emotional, and spiritual care in line with care plans.
Maintain daily records and contribute to effective teamwork.
Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents.
Qualifications
Experience as a Care Assistant is preferable.
Care Certificate or willingness to obtain within the first 12 months.
Knowledge of care principles and practices related to older people.
Ability to work in a team and demonstrate self-motivation.
Experience
Preferable experience in a care environment.
Skills
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of the six principles of care.
Salary: £11.44 – £22.88 per hour
