Job Description/Overview:
WesTrac is an equipment solutions company and one of the world’s leading Caterpillar Dealerships, supporting customers across mining and construction industries. As a Business Development Representative, you will drive sales and build relationships by managing and qualifying leads, reaching out to potential and existing customers, and generating sales leads for Cat® machinery and dealer solutions. This role also involves collating and submitting local government tenders for the WA Construction Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and qualify leads from digital channels, walk-ins, and phone inquiries.
Proactively reach out to potential and existing customers.
Generate sales leads for Cat® machinery and dealer solutions.
Collate and submit WA local government tenders.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a related technical discipline.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, engineering drawings, and manuals.
Advanced computer literacy skills, particularly with MS Office.
Experience:
Experience in account and relationship management.
Strong technical language skills for reports, correspondence, and phone conversations.
Skills:
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Proficiency in calculating figures such as averages, percentages, and statistics.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
