Job Description/Overview:
As a Kitchen Assistant at HC-One, you will play a vital role in providing excellent care through nutritious meal preparation and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. Your kindness will directly impact the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and serving healthy meals for residents
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards
Manage food supplies and monitor fridge/freezer temperatures
Train new staff on kitchen equipment usage
Support resident well-being through considerate communication
Qualifications:
NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation preferred, or willingness to study for one
Previous kitchen experience is desirable
Experience:
Experience in a catering or kitchen environment is an advantage
Skills:
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
Strong ability to follow recipes
Kind and considerate communication skills

Hourly rate: £12.00 to £12.50, depending on experience and qualifications
