Job Description/Overview:
Border Express is currently seeking experienced and motivated Drivers (Minimum MR licence) to join the team at our Gold Coast Branch. As a Driver, you will be the face of Border Express, and it’s essential to possess excellent customer service and communication skills along with a high level of presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure paperwork is matched against freight to ensure that correct freight is on the vehicle for delivery.
Plan and monitor all freight movements for effective utilization to meet the operations time schedule.
Ensure PDA’s are used correctly and only for their intended purpose.
Check and complete all pallet paperwork and Dangerous Goods paperwork accurately.
Scan all scannable freight when loading/unloading to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the Transport industry.
Excellent Driver History Report.
Strong local knowledge of Gold Coast and surrounding areas.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Current minimum MR licence or higher is essential.
Experience in multi-drops is essential.
Current Police Check.
Skills:
Fantastic customer service and communication skills.
Strong planning and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
