Job Description/Overview:
Border Express is seeking experienced and motivated Drivers (Minimum MR licence) to join our team at the Mackay Branch. As a Driver, you will represent Border Express, so excellent customer service, communication skills, and a high level of presentation are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Match paperwork against freight to ensure correct deliveries.
Plan and monitor freight movements for effective utilization to meet operational schedules.
Use PDAs correctly for their intended purpose.
Check and complete all pallet and Dangerous Goods paperwork accurately.
Scan and ensure accuracy when loading/unloading freight.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the Transport industry.
Excellent Driver History Report.
Strong local knowledge of Mackay and surrounding areas.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Current minimum MR licence or higher is essential.
Experience in multi-drops is essential.
Current Police Check.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in the Transport industry.
Skills:
Customer service and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.
