Job Description/Overview:
HC-One Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team at Perry Locks. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting residents with their physical and emotional well-being under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with personal care activities such as washing, dressing, and meals, ensuring that our residents maintain their dignity and sense of individuality. The position involves working with residents in a dementia, nursing, residential, and specialist care environment, providing long-term, short-term, respite, and palliative care services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily personal care needs.
Provide emotional and social support to residents.
Participate in general activities within the care home.
Ensure residents’ dignity and well-being are prioritized.
Safeguard against abuse, harm, or neglect and report any concerns.
Work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver personalized care.
Qualifications:
Compassionate and kind-hearted approach.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to learn and attend required training.
Basic knowledge of safeguarding practices (training provided).
Experience:
Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not required as full training will be provided.
Skills:
Ability to support residents with physical and emotional needs.
Ability to maintain a calm and supportive environment.
Strong team player and communicator.

Hourly Rate: £11.50 to £12.00 per hour, subject to experience and qualifications.
