Job Description/Overview:
HC-One Ltd is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at our care home in Arbroath. In this role, kindness will be at the core of everything you do, ensuring residents in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes receive personalized care. You will work closely with our residents and their families, delivering person-centered care plans that prioritize security, dignity, and independence. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain the highest standards of care, and provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities. Responsibilities also include assisting with medication administration and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement personalized care for residents.
Lead and support a team of Care Assistants.
Assist with medication administration.
Maintain strong communication with residents and their families.
Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social activities.
Maintain accurate care records and safeguard against potential harm or abuse.
Qualifications:
Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care or equivalent (Level 3 qualification is preferred).
Background in person-centered care planning and dementia care.
Ability to manage time effectively and maintain good record-keeping practices.
Positive energy and natural communication skills.
Experience:
Previous experience in a senior care role is required.
Experience in dementia care and safeguarding practices is preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to recognize safeguarding issues and take appropriate actions.

Additional Information:
Hourly Rate: £12.95 to £13.55 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
