Job Description/Overview:
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One, you will play a key role in delivering person-centered care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will be responsible for planning and implementing care that ensures residents’ safety, dignity, and independence. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards and help create personalized care plans while supporting residents’ physical and mental well-being through activities and medication administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Care Assistants
Develop and implement personalized care plans for residents
Administer medication and assist residents with daily tasks
Engage in social and recreational activities to stimulate residents
Maintain accurate care records
Communicate with residents and their families to ensure top-quality care
Qualifications:
Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care (required), Level 3 in Adult Care (preferred)
Background in care planning, particularly for residents with dementia
Experience:
Experience in person-centered care, especially for elderly or dementia care, is required
Skills:
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed records
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Compassionate, patient, and kind demeanor

Salary: £12.95 to £13.55 per hour
