Job Description/Overview:
1st Class Care is expanding and looking to hire a Care Quality Assurance Officer to join the existing team. The role involves ensuring the provision of high-quality care by supporting service users, staff, and managers in understanding and improving care standards. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with IT systems, such as Microsoft Word & Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
Support managers and staff to address performance issues and develop care policies and practices.
Conduct care spot-checks and compliance audits to ensure adherence to standards.
Guide staff in utilizing systems to track performance and highlight areas for improvement.
Provide guidance and advice in accordance with 1st Class Care’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience in a care or healthcare setting is an advantage.
Ability to communicate effectively and solve problems in a care environment.
Experience:
Previous experience in quality assurance or care management is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to perform audits and spot-checks with attention to detail.
