Job Description/Overview:
As a Care Assistant for 1st Class Care, you will support vulnerable adults in maintaining their independence within their homes. You will assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and general domestic tasks, while ensuring the highest standards of care as outlined by the Care Inspectorate Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support for daily activities.
Prepare meals and assist with medication administration.
Perform general domestic tasks to ensure the well-being of service users.
Develop strong relationships with service users and their families.
Qualifications:
No prior experience required as full training is provided.
Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently.
Experience:
Not required, but previous experience in a care role is advantageous.
Skills:
Good communication skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
Salary:
£11 per hour.
Mileage allowance for drivers: 20p per mile + £100 additional mileage per calendar month.
Over-time:
Guaranteed over-time rate at £16.50 per hour.
Training:
Full training provided, with paid shadow shifts (subject to a qualifying period).
