Position: Office Administrative Assistant
Location : Nepean, ON, Canada

Job Description/Overview:
The Office Administrative Assistant will coordinate office activities, assist with HR department tasks, and manage daily operations. Key responsibilities include planning events, managing contracts, overseeing payroll, and ensuring smooth office procedures. This is an on-site role with no option for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures
Coordinate HR activities to meet organizational goals
Direct and evaluate daily operations
Supervise and train staff
Plan and control budget and expenditures
Manage contracts and office supplies
Maintain and implement office procedures
Compile data and statistics
Oversee payroll administration
Answer telephone and electronic enquiries
Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate service areas
Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
Qualifications:
College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate/diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year of experience
Skills:
Ability to work independently
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
