Job Description/Overview
The successful candidate will oversee the existing commercial team within the waste management and recycling sector, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered and facilitating bookings and enquiries from commercial customers. The role involves managing team performance, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring SLAs and expectations are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Internal Commercial Team.
Set customer service standards and monitor team performance.
Maintain relationships with commercial customers.
Manage team bookings and commercial enquiries.
Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate with other departments.
Qualifications
Experience in waste management or related sectors such as wood recycling, clinical waste, hygiene services, or metal recycling.
Leadership and team management experience.
Experience
Candidates should have a strong background in waste management or related fields (e.g., skip hire, hazardous waste). Previous roles could include: Customer Service Manager, Office Manager, Sales Team Manager, Account Manager, or Internal Sales Manager.
Skills
Excellent communication and time management.
Ability to delegate, manage teams, and meet deadlines.
