About the Role
We are seeking a Tech Lead (Backend) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with backend development and a passion for building scalable applications. You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive product features to perfection. As a Tech Lead, you will ensure that products are developed with high-quality code, optimized for performance, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate requirements into product features and lead the development process
- Work closely with developers and manage products from concept to realization
- Deliver best-in-class code across web and mobile platforms
- Continuously improve products through innovation and learning
- Develop features for complex, distributed transaction processing systems
- Debug production issues and implement mitigation plans
- Optimize the performance of existing implementations
- Stay up-to-date with technology trends and innovations to improve product offerings
Ideal Candidate
- 5-9 years of experience as a Backend Developer
- Strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS, with experience in JavaScript, Java, or TypeScript
- Proficiency in SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) database design and architecture
- Solid understanding of DOM manipulation, CSS processors, and memory management
- Experience with unit testing, TDD, and CI/CD environments
- Knowledge of microservices, WebSocket, Redis, and cloud messaging frameworks
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch ELK stack, REST API integration, and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a team player attitude
- Ability to debug moderately complex problems and analyze production logs
