Job Overview:
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to spearhead the strategic development and implementation of marketing campaigns targeted at Federal and State & Local public sector clients. This role will leverage a variety of digital and non-digital channels, including events, email, webinars, content syndication, and paid social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Development: Design and execute demand and lead generation campaigns utilizing various tactics, including events, email, outbound marketing, webinars, paid social media, and content syndication.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product marketing, creative teams, and marketing operations to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans.
- Event Strategy: Collaborate with the public sector sales team to develop a data-driven events strategy and customized messaging for sales outreach.
- Content Creation: Develop clear and compelling content to support various campaign interaction points, including emails, landing pages, event messaging, and online/offline campaigns.
- Performance Analysis: Implement a data-driven approach to track, measure, and analyze all promotional activities, conducting regular pipeline reviews to inform campaign development.
- Lead Nurturing: Enhance lead nurturing activities through consistent testing, measurement, and optimization.
- Website Optimization: Monitor website traffic and provide recommendations for improvements based on analysis.
- Budget Management: Track event budgets and program results, uncovering insights for improvement and cost reduction.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience running omni-channel marketing campaigns, preferably in the software space, with experience in marketing to the US public sector (both federal and state/local).
- Skills: Proficiency in digital and offline marketing tactics, including events, email marketing, paid social, SEO, and content syndication.
- Content Creation: Experience writing and creating marketing campaign assets.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project Management: Strong project management abilities with a proven track record of timely execution.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze performance metrics and drive program optimization.
- Independence: Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with Trends: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
- Additional Skills: Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and partner experience are a plus.
Benefits:
- Salary Range: The annualized base salary for this position is $104,000 – $156,000.
- Incentives: This position may also be eligible for bonuses and related incentives.
