Job Description/Overview:
The Interim and Supported Accommodation Team at Bristol City Council is expanding and looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Support Officer to join their team of three existing support officers. The team provides a single point of access for homeless households in crisis who require emergency or supported housing. The role involves supporting the team in delivering high-quality services to front-line colleagues assisting the homeless population.
Key Responsibilities:
Process orders, invoices, and client records.
Manage payroll tasks and employee records.
Maintain databases and spreadsheets.
Assist in providing administrative support for the Housing Options Service.
Qualifications:
Strong administrative skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of homelessness issues in Bristol and the UK.
Experience:
Experience in handling orders, invoices, payroll, employee records, and managing databases and spreadsheets is essential.
Skills:
Strong organisational and IT skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own time.
Excellent communication skills.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position with a salary range of BG8: £26,873 – £28,770 per year.
Hybrid working arrangements may be available, with a mix of home and office-based work.
