Job Description/Overview:
1 Stop Healthcare is recruiting passionate Care Assistants to join a warm and welcoming care home in Silver End. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. Due to the home’s location, which can be difficult to access via public transport, drivers are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide for the physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs of residents using a person-centred approach.
Promote and respect residents’ choice, independence, dignity, privacy, and fulfilment of their rights.
Build and maintain professional relationships with residents, their families, friends, and other stakeholders.
Support and collaborate with other care staff to ensure the best possible care.
Salary: £11.44 to £13.00 per hour.
Hours: Full-time or Part-time, minimum of 24 hours per week.
Requirements:
A clear DBS check is required (assistance available if you don’t have one).
Relevant training or qualifications in health and social care are a bonus but not essential as comprehensive training is provided.
Previous experience in care homes or residential settings is valued but not mandatory. What truly matters is your passion for improving residents’ well-being.
