Job Description/Overview:
Veranda Rehabilitation and Healthcare is hiring a Social Service Worker to assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services Department. This role aims to ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of residents are met individually in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement social service programs to meet the needs of residents.
Evaluate and direct social services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaborate with the Director of Social Services and other staff to improve resident care.
Qualifications:
Texas Social Service Worker License is not required.
Experience in a similar role or a background in social services is preferred.
Salary:
Salary Range: $35,000 – $50,000 per year (Glassdoor estimate).
