Job Description/Overview:
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide for the Committed Caregiver position, which guarantees 40 hours per week. We provide home care services with love, enhancing the quality of living while maintaining our clients’ dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medication reminders.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility within the home and during outings (e.g., doctor’s appointments, walks).
Support clients with personal care and hygiene.
Plan and prepare meals with client involvement when possible.
Assist clients with shopping or accompany them if needed.
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cannot complete independently.
Serve as a pleasant and supportive companion.
Report any unusual incidents promptly.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a caregiver preferred.
Completion of the required training program for Home Health Aides.
Experience:
Reliable transportation for commuting to clients.
Attention to detail and good time management skills.
Skills:
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Respectful, compassionate, and ethical.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical endurance.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
