Job Description/Overview:
Shop & Bakery Equipment is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive CNC milling experience and programming skills with Heidenhain, Mazatrol, Fanuc, or Fagor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program universal vertical and horizontal milling CNC machines according to provided drawings and route cards.
- Set up and run CNC machines, ensuring smooth operation.
- Ensure the quality of all machined work, reporting any issues to the Supervisor or Machine Shop Manager.
- Support other members of the Machine Shop as needed.
- Familiarise and instruct new operators on existing and new applications.
- Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
Qualifications:
– Extensive experience in CNC milling.
– Programming experience with Heidenhain, Mazatrol, Fanuc, or Fagor preferred.
Experience:
– Proven experience setting up universal vertical and horizontal machines.
Skills:
– Self-motivated and flexible team player.
– Strong attention to detail.

Additional Information:
– Salary: Dependent on ability, paid directly by BACS.
– Working hours: Day shift, 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM, 39 hours per week.
