Job Description/Overview
Isle of Anglesey County Council is looking for a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the learning and achievement of students, providing equal opportunities for all, and carrying out duties in accordance with school policies and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in line with curriculum standards.
– Foster a stimulating classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
– Maintain professional standards and fulfil duties as required by the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions (Wales) Document.
Qualifications:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Strong understanding of curriculum standards and best teaching practices.
Experience:
– Experience in teaching mathematics in a school setting is preferred.
Skills:
– Excellent communication and organisational skills.
– Ability to inspire and motivate students.
– Proficiency in classroom management.
