Job Description/Overview:
Animates is New Zealand’s leading pet care company with 46 pet specialty retail stores, 28 grooming salons, and 15 vet clinics. As a Sales Assistant at the Te Rapa store, you will be part of a friendly and engaged team, providing excellent customer service and specialist advice on pet nutrition, toys, and care. Other responsibilities include fulfilling eCommerce orders and lifting heavy items like dog food bags.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide excellent customer service and specialist pet care advice
– Fulfill eCommerce orders
– Lift and handle stock, up to 20kg
– Work collaboratively as part of a team
Qualifications needed:
– Experience in a customer-facing role (retail experience preferred)
– Physical ability to lift stock (up to 20kg)
– Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
– Positive attitude and dedication to teamwork
Experience:
– Previous customer-facing experience, retail preferred
Skills:
