Job Description/Overview:
Our client is seeking a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic for our Coquitlam location. You will be working on our fleet of garbage trucks, focusing on hydraulics, electricals, preventative maintenance, and minor engine repair. Benefit from working on vehicles, most of which are under warranty.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on garbage trucks.
– Focus on hydraulics, electricals, preventative maintenance, and minor engine repair.
– Ensure the fleet is in optimal condition for operation.
Qualifications needed:
– Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or equivalent certification.
– 3-4 years of experience in truck/trailer repairs.
– Proficiency in drivability, hydraulics, and engines.
– Must pass all pre-employment tests.
Experience:
– 3-4 years of experience in truck/trailer repairs.
Skills:
– Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
– Proficiency in hydraulics, electricals, and engines.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
