Job Overview:
QuiK Hire is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain their heavy-duty truck fleet. The position involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- – Inspect heavy trucks to ensure correct functioning and identify any faults or malfunctions.
- – Diagnose issues using computerized and other testing tools to determine necessary repairs.
- – Adjust equipment and repair or replace faulty parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools.
- – Test repaired equipment to ensure it operates correctly and meets manufacturer specifications.
- – Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
- – Service attachments and working tools, including harvesting and tillage equipment, blades, plows, winches, and side booms.
- – May also repair heavy trucks.
Qualifications:
– Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
– Commitment to safety.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week
Flexible Language Requirement: French not required
Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay
Work Location: In person
