Job Summary:
Join Aspen Planers, a leading producer of overlaid MDO and HDO concrete forming panels. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will maintain and repair industrial equipment including forklifts, work trucks, and aerial work platforms.
Responsibilities:
– Perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts (gas, propane, diesel), work trucks, and aerial work platforms.
– Follow safe work practices and procedures.
– Troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues.
– Utilize computer applications for purchase and work orders.
– Work in isolated areas as needed, with regular communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial setting.
– Strong commitment to safety and excellent organizational skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
– Familiarity with computer applications.
– Valid BC Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Shift Work:
– May be required based on production and maintenance needs.
