Job Summary:
Summit Motors Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their team in Brooks. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy duty trucks.
Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on heavy duty trucks.
– Repair and replace parts, components, and systems.
– Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and service reports.
– Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
– Journeyman Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician Certification preferred.
– 3rd and 4th Year HET Apprentices and Journeyman Automotive technicians will also be considered.
– A Class 3 License, Commercial Vehicle Inspection License, and International experience are assets.
