Job Description/Overview
Noiser is an award-winning podcast network reaching millions of listeners weekly, known for immersive storytelling in history and true stories. This role is remote but includes occasional in-person meetings. As an Audio Engineer, you will be responsible for assembling podcast episodes, integrating music and sound design, and mixing and mastering the final product to bring stories to life.
Key Responsibilities
– Assemble podcast episodes by integrating the host’s voice-over with expert interviews and placing appropriate music and sound design.
– Enhance the overall pacing to maximize drama and emotion.
– Occasionally piece together voice-over and interviews, strip silencing with edit notes.
– Mix and master episodes to ensure high audio quality.
Qualifications needed
– Proficiency in Adobe Audition.
– A critical eye and close attention to detail.
– Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
– Ability to meet tight and regular deadlines.
Experience
– 2+ years of experience as an audio engineer.
Skills
– Audio assembly and mixing.
– Sound design integration.
– Collaborative communication.
