Job Description/Overview:
We are looking for a Team Player that has carpentry in construction experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct boxing for concrete for buildings or infrastructure as required
- Construct structures out of wood, metal or similar including frames and trusses as required
- Construct formwork as required
- Install plasterboard and interior fittings as required
- Install framing and trusses as required
- Repair any damage to buildings or infrastructure as required
- Conduct preventative maintenance on buildings or infrastructure as required
- Conduct preventative maintenance on buildings or infrastructure as required
- Use tools to cut materials as required
- Interpret construction plans and ensure work is carried to these plans as required
Experience:
- Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in Carpentry or recognized trade qualification
- Have previous experience in the construction industry
- Be Health & Safety Conscious
Additional information:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
