Job Description/Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Power Systems Technician/Commissioning Engineer for work starting immediately (both contract and permanent options available).
Key Responsibilities
- Testing, commissioning, repair and maintenance across the power distribution network
- High H&S standards
- Fault-finding analysis of substation and control systems
- Ensure optimal reliability and performance of plant and equipment
- Install and commission substations and other high voltage protection systems
- Produce quality assurance documentation
Qualifications needed
- National certificate in Electrical Supply (Power Technician) level 5 or similar with two years or more post-qualification experience
- EWRB Practising licence
- Knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements
- Class 1 licence essential (Class 2 preferred)
- High voltage protection system commissioning experience
- Eligible to work in NZ
