Key Responsibilities
As a Structural / Stability Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and supervision of structural elements in construction projects, ensuring they are safe, functional, and compliant with industry standards.
- Design and develop detailed plans for structural elements
- Perform strength, stability, and deformation calculations for structural elements using advanced calculation methods
- Conduct load, stress, and deformation analyses to ensure the structure meets safety and performance standards
- Monitor the implementation of structural design during the construction phase
- Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure plans are correctly followed and executed
- Manage the project from start to finish, including planning, resource organization, team coordination, and adherence to deadlines and budgets
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends in structural design
- Contribute to innovation by proposing new methods and approaches to improve project efficiency and quality
- Prepare detailed technical reports on the design, calculations, and analyses performed. Document all process steps for future reference
- Ensure that structures comply with safety standards, regulatory compliance, and building codes in force in Luxembourg
Qualifications needed
Possess an Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Skills:
- Proficiency in modeling and simulation software, as well as current design standards
- Rigorous, dynamic, flexible, organized, and enjoy working in a team
- Proficiency in French is essential; knowledge of German and Luxembourgish is an additional asset
